Tips for Parents of Young Writers Appears in San Diego Family Magazine

Mary-Lane Kamberg, author of The I Love To Write Book (Crickhollow Books, 2008), has a great article with tips for parents to encourage kids in their writing efforts.

The article is in the January 2010 issue of San Diego Family magazine.
It starts on page 86; you can read it online:  “Encouraging Young Writers” at the San Diego Family website.

For more tips, check out Kamberg’s great book, chock-full of writing advice, prompts, examples, and best practices for young writers.

It’s a practical and inspiring guide . . . sure to help any middle-grade student (ages 8-14) with his/her language arts skills . . . to improve classroom, homeschool, or independent writing projects.
